Functie

For the Identity & Access Management (IAM) product team of our customer in Eindhoven, we are looking for an experienced Medior/Senior IAM Engineer within the Product Area Platforms. The IAM field is rapidly evolving and is becoming increasingly important, given that Identity and Access Management play a crucial role in the security policy. This team serves as the hub for authorizations and access provisioning.

Your focus for the upcoming period will be on operational IAM management. In addition to handling operational activities, you’ll also be involved in ongoing developments in the IAM field.

You’ll manage the application stack and address inquiries from the internal organization. Together with the team, you’ll ensure effective handling of operational tasks and set priorities collaboratively. Your drive will allow you to quickly grasp the  IAM and associated technical IT environment.

Furthermore, you’ll swiftly understand the organization and, by asking the right questions, aim to elevate IAM to a higher maturity level while considering security policy of the organization. Taking ownership, you’ll maintain contacts with the stakeholders.

Functie-eisen

• You must have been living in the Netherlands for some time already;
• You have HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of thinking and working, preferably with a completed HBO degree in an IT-related field;
• You possess a minimum of 3 years of knowledge and experience with the IAM process and IAM applications as an IAM Engineer, along with demonstrable experience in Identity & Access Management systems;
• Your verbal and written communication skills are strong in English. Dutch is a big pré;
• You have at least 1 year of proven experience in setting up Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within a complex organization;
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud, AD, IT security  and knowledge of standards such as SAML, OAuth2, OpenID, and SCIM;
• Experience in education/research and service provision from Surf is a significant plus;
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working and the ITIL framework;
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with problem-solving abilities;
• You’re a team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and bridging technology and service;
• You are able and willing to work 3 – 4 days a week in the office in Eindhoven, from where the whole IT team will operate.
